"The blind side"

Is there any reason stronger than selfless love to help someone?


People will say 'Of course. No one gives something if they don't expect something in return'.


Well, I'm so glad that isn't true. Many times have I considered why do I love to give, to help, to be there... Was I selfish? Was I trying to fill any empty space in me? Was I wrong?


Pure love, that feeling that fils you so much that you don't need anything back, that is greatness. Whenever I felt that, I thought I could say I was the luckiest and happiest person in the world. Not expecting, not wanting, not needing. Just being, feeling... Never felt more alive.


There are many persons, all kinds of them, willing to give, to share, to love. It takes some time to believe it, to remember it. I know I love to give. I don't know how to explain how it feels, how amazing it's to see the light, that bright star in the eyes of that person that just received. Maybe that can be considered as a something in return, dono'. I just know that in that moment everything makes sense. Life does, love does.


This is to all the people who made possible the film "The blind side". Thank you for remind me and many people the greatness of human beings. No matter who they are, where are they from, no matter clothes, skin or believes. They are the heart. And it never stops beating.
